Hello CMV group!

You can now download Carmen's final poster from this page!

Before you post questions about the poster to the CMV listserv or request to be added to the poster, please read all the information on this page. The answers to most questions about the poster are here on this page. First, there have been some folks requesting to be added to the poster. Please be advised that Carmen's poster project has been finalized and that there can be no further entries to the poster. This does not necessarily mean that there will not be future additions of similar posters or additional future CMV projects, it just means that this particular poster project is finalized.

There are several versions of the poster available for download from the links below.

"Link 1" is the original poster as it was made by Carmen. You can ONLY view "link one" if you have Microsoft Publisher. Microsoft publisher is a program that was used to create the poster and therefore is required to open the file again. Microsoft publisher is a picky program. If you have Microsoft Publisher 2000 then you can NOT open a document created in Microsoft Publisher 2003. However it is backwards compatible. This means that if you have Microsoft Publisher 2003 you CAN open a document created in Microsoft Publisher 2000. As of 11-13-06 at 9:04pm PST USA time, "link 1" is the final revised poster.

Now version 2 ("link 2 below") was created so that everyone could see the poster even if you do not have the Microsoft Publisher program. This version is the poster saved as an HTML document. What does this mean? It means that I opened the poster in Microsoft Publisher 2003 on my computer and I chose the option of "save as" and I exported the poster into HTML format. If you are a novice computer user or are not familiar with computer terminology, HTML format means that it is a web page. By saving it in HTML format I have accomplished several things. One, I have reduced the file size of the original poster substantially so that even people who are on slow dial up can view the poster. Two, by saving the poster in HTML format, it is now available in a more common platform. It will open and display in your internet web browser such as Netscape, Mozilla Firefox, or Microsoft's Internet Explorer.

The 3rd version was created simply as one last alternative. It simply is a picture of the poster. A common .jpg picture similar in nature to that of a picture your digital camera will take.

Download links:

1. Here is the original poster/document as I received it from Carmen with absolutely no changes made by me. It requires Microsoft Publisher 2000 or later to open. I recommend a high speed internet connection to download as it is 114 megabytes.

2. Now this version is in HTML (web page). It is only 361 kb. Dial up internet connection will work fine for this version. This version is recommended for those who would just like to see the poster but are not necessarily interested in printing it. This version may vary slightly from person to person depending on different factors such as what web browser you use and what your screen resolution is set at.

(Thank you Geoffrey & Diana Sagers from Tooele, UT :-)

3. This is in a standard jpeg format. You can save the file and print it on standard sheet of paper for smaller version of the poster. I did a sample print and it printed fine. All the text was legible even though the image is reduced. Dial up internet connection will work fine for this version. Note: In some cases you can click the link and load the image and display it in your web browser. You can also right click the link and choose "save file as" or "save target as" and save to your computers hard drive first. You can then open it with your favorite photo viewer or image editing software
